Dense phase – vacuum

The vacuum dense phase conveyor allows the transfer of dry products at low velocity (5 to 15 m/s).

It is principally use to transfer highly sensitive and abrasive products. It also avoids the particle size separation into the pipe.

The medium used is air. And a specific mechanism create product wagons.

Regarding of the characteristics of the product (hygrometry, purity level, etc.), we can add different elements to the pipe network:

– Air desiccator

– Pre-filter and hygienic filter

This transfer mode is used for medium speeds and over medium distances. It helps preserve the integrity of the product and is suitable for explosive and flammable products.

Dense phase transport is also less energy intensive than dilute phase transfer.
